Brian J. Warner

Brian J. Warner joined the firm in June 2009 and is the Managing Member of the firm’s Morgantown office. Mr. Warner concentrates his practice in the areas of insurance defense, deliberate intent, construction, and employment law. This includes the defense of various insurance coverage claims, insurance bad faith claims, automobile liability claims, premises liability claims, wrongful death claims, wrongful termination claims, toxic tort claims, workplace injury claims, construction defect claims, and professional negligence claims.

Mr. Warner frequently represents oil and gas operators, drillers, and vendors, as well as employers in many other fields, in deliberate intent matters in state and federal courts throughout West Virginia. He is experienced in all aspects of defense litigation from discovery through trial, advises employers as to their obligations under state and federal law with respect to hiring and termination of employees, and often counsels clients on preventative measures and effective procedures for preempting litigation.

Mr. Warner was recognized as a 2014 West Virginia Rising Star as featured in Super Lawyers Magazine and has also achieved an AV Preeminent®rating and client distinction award from Martindale Hubbell.
