Hamilton D. Skeens

Hamilton D. Skeens joined the Morgantown office on December 31, 2018. Before joining the firm, Mr. Skeens practiced law for the past eight years at Nationwide Trial Division, and served the last three years as the Managing Trial Attorney for the Morgantown Trial Division office. Mr. Skeens’ legal practice has been primarily devoted to insurance defense litigation, with particular emphasis on the defense of complex commercial litigation involving commercial trucking, construction defect, products liability, premises liability and land slip cases.

Mr. Skeens obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Concord College, M.B.A. from Regent University, and J.D. from the West Virginia University College of Law. While in law school, Mr. Skeens was honored to be a member of the West Virginia University College of Law Moot Court Board, and competed in a moot court competition at the University of Cincinnati.

Mr. Skeens is originally from Beckley, West Virginia, but now resides with his wife, Tanya, in Morgantown, West Virginia.
