Trial Victory for Longnecker

Shuman McCuskey Slicer would like to congratulate Austin J. Longnecker on his recent trial victory! In this case, a former tenant sued a property management company and property owner for breach of contract, negligence, and violation of the Virginia Residential Landlord Tenant Act. At the close of Plaintiff’s case in chief, Austin moved to strike the evidence and successfully argued that Plaintiff had failed to present evidence to succeed on any of her causes of action. The Court granted the Motion to Strike and dismissed Plaintiff’s claims with Prejudice.
