SMS Attorneys Slicer and Rogers Obtain Voluntary Dismissal

SMS Managing Member William R. Slicer and Associate Shannon M. Rogers obtained a voluntary dismissal on behalf of their client, the owner and operator of a pizza chain in Charleston, West Virginia. Plaintiff’s Complaint alleged that an offensive description was used in lieu of her name on her order, causing her emotional distress. After the Court granted their motion dismissing Plaintiff’s West Virginia Human Rights Act Claim, Slicer and Rogers zealously defended their client until Plaintiff ultimately voluntarily dismissed her remaining claims.
